Becoming a Financial Partner

We are looking for monthly partners who will support Cross City Church, the first Lumen Foundation church plant.  If you are interested in becoming a monthly partner and joining the mission of Cross City Church, follow the simple steps listed below.

  1. Email Scott or Email Ken to let us know you are interested in becoming a financial partner.  We will then connect you with our Pledge Manager, who will take your pledge and record it for our budget.  It is important for us to record your pledge so that we can anticipate how much support will be coming in for Cross City Church.
  2. If you wish to give by writing a physical check every month, just let us know and we will give you the address and instructions for getting that check to Cross City Church.
  3. OR If you wish to give through our easy-to-use “Online Giving” option, just follow this link and fill in the form.  You can give by electronic check or by credit/debit card.  You can even make a recurring payment for a set amount of time so you don’t have to remember to write a check every month!  This secure option is provided by CashLINQ, a company that provides online giving for many churches and ministries…such as ECCU and Gospel for Asia. Just click on the “Give” button below to use this easy option!

Our Approach with Giving

We believe that all things, wealth and people ultimately belong to God.  He provides for His mission and people primarily through His Church, whom He entrusts to steward His resources.  Please consider the following perspectives

  • We seek the financial support of those who have prayerfully concluded to joyfully give
  • The funds and accounting are held in integrity through the accounting of the Evangelical Free Church of America and our Financial Reporter.
  • In order to preserve the purity of the givers and the planters, the planters will only be informed of the identity of the givers and the length of time they have committed to give.
  • The identity, length of time, commitment and actual amounts will be fully known by the Evangelical Free Church of America and our Financial Reporter.  They will send reports to the planters regarding account totals, forecasts, progress, new givers, etc.
  • We seek to openly communicate progress and needs to the financial partners.  While the receiving financial progress reports are often welcome, partners need to be willing to receive “need” notifications, understanding that the planters are trusting God in stepping out to see whom the Lord would move to provide such needs.
