The Lumen Foundation exists to help plant Gospel-centered, missional churches…starting in Columbus and reaching to many other strategic cities and towns of Ohio.

“Lumen” is a measure of light.  We believe that God has called His people to go out as light into a dark world in need of transformation and hope (Isa. 42:6; Matt. 5:14-16).  One church will not suffice to be this light…it’s brightness can only reach so far.  This is why our goal is not just to plant one church, but to be a part of a movement in which many churches are planted.  There are already many Gospel-centered missional churches doing this in Columbus.  We hope to join their work and add more lights to the city.  Our desire is to strategically scatter even more lights all around the city so that no neighborhood and no alley remains dark.
